So many have gone

So many have come and gone
how many more times
will i hear about
and see the people
that pass through
my life

disappear, depart, leave...

how many more times
will i see the passing
of another soul
from this earth
into eternity?

How many more times
can my heart take
the brokeness
that comes when
you give your heart to someone
and have them taken from you
How many more tears
can i shed
for a lonely heart
and why do i cry so much?
